This photo was sent to us by Ernie Saldivar, 2nd Platoon, Delta Company, 5/60th, 9th Infantry Division. Here our 240th Greyhounds have just inserted Ernie and other 9th Infantry Division Troops into an LZ at Rach Kien, South Vietnam. That is Ernie, the RTO! Ernie said the Greyhounds ALWAYS came back and picked him and his buddies up, even though the GRUNTS would jokingly "flip off" the Greyhound Gunners as they were dropping the "Old Reliables" off!
