MEMORABILIA, PAGE ONE
To show their support for the American men and woman
serving their country in South Vietnam, Veterans Organizations, this particular
tag coming from the American Legion, produced these tags and offered them to the
American Public to display on their automobiles. The message needs no
explanation.
What General Sherman said over one hundred years ago is still true
today.....
Military Payment
Certificate
Funny money. The South Vietnamese ALWAYS knew when there would be
a change in MPC even before the American GI's!
When the American
Military would have a "change over" in MPC, the Vietnamese would be at the front
gate at Bearcat, offering the GI's a percentage of their money if a soldier(s)
would exchange it for them.
This is a newspaper
clipping which details a joint operation between The 3rd Brigade, 9th Infantry
Division, and the 240th AHC
Here is an original Mad Dog
button purchased at Bearcat. Thanks to Bill"Wild Bill"Clark, Mad Dog Doorgunner,
for sending it in.
